All of the staff at Josh's Place are committed to providing a nurturing environment for the children in our care. We recognise the importance of having the right people in the right roles and all of our homes operate with a team of experienced personnel who provide support to both our children and each other including:
- Home Manager
- Deputy Manager
- Team Leaders
- Residential Workers
Staffing Structure and arrangements for Supervision
Continued professional development and staff support are key elements in providing quality care. The staff rota consists of 16 team members including a Registered Manager, Deputy Manager, 2 x Senior Staff, and 12 Residential Workers and part time housekeeper.
Each member of the team will receive professional Supervision from a more senior member of the team. Supervision takes place between Supervisor and Supervisee at least monthly intervals.
In addition, we facilitate regular team meetings and consultations with opportunities to debrief following incidents and issues.
On occasion there may be a need for other employers of Josh's Place to support the young people and the adults at our homes. All safer recruitment checks have been completed and are accessible if required.
